About John
John is an advocate for student voice in their learning in schools that range from traditional to innovative programs. Having taught and coached schools in urban to rural communities, from poverty to affluence, John helps education stakeholders make the changes needed to improve their learner experiences based on their unique environment. His experience includes coaching schools across the United States and internationally.
Over the years, John has successfully helped educators develop, and refine skills to design and implement structures that benefits students taking more ownership of their learning. Key areas include Differentiated Instruction so ALL can learn, Authentic Learning Experiences that make curriculum meaningful to students through experiences related to Professions, 21st Century skills through technology, and reinventing the learner experience through Gamification, which comes from my passion for online MOMRG games and eSports like League of Legends.
The result: empower students to be collaborative leaders of their learning and professional future. John helps schools translate pedagogical concepts into practical skill sets for successful implementation of learning.
